NEW YORK: Launched in 1999 by the AAP and now managed by Every Child a Reader, Get Caught Reading provides teachers and librarians with small posters of TV stars, famous athletes, authors, and beloved book characters reading a book. The first new poster for 2019 features Olympic gold medalist and author Laurie Hernandez, and will be available starting Oct. 22 for free, thanks to a sponsorship by KPMG, whose citizenship mission is to encourage lifelong learning through literacy.
